Whitney focuses her career on workers’ compensation law – particularly defending employer and insurers. She represents employers and insurers n matters involving initial compensability questions, compliance issues, litigation, through trails and appeals.
She completed the Medicare Secondary Payer Professional certification and is experienced in resolving Medicare issues. She’s a contributing author to a national publication regarding Medicare compliance in workers’ compensation settlements.
Whitney also authors the rehabilitation chapter in the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Deskbook. She was selected as a Rising Star in 2012 and has remained on this list ever since. She has been listed as a Top Women attorney from 2013 – current. She graduated with honors from law school and served as the Managing Editor for the Hamline Law Review.
