Whitney focuses her career on workers’ compensation law – particularly defending employer and insurers.  She represents employers and insurers in matters involving initial compensability questions, compliance issues, litigation, through trials and appeals.


She completed the Medicare Secondary Payer Professional certification and is experienced in resolving Medicare issues.  She’s a contributing author to a national publication regarding Medicare compliance in workers’ compensation settlements.


Whitney also authors the rehabilitation chapter in the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Deskbook.  She was selected as a Rising Star in 2012 and has remained on this list ever since.  She has been listed as a Top Women attorney from 2013 – current.  She graduated with honors from law school and served as the Managing Editor for the Hamline Law Review.
