Whitney concentrates her practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and Medicare Secondary Payer Act compliance. She represents employers and insurers in all aspects of workers’ compensation disputes, from initial liability consultations, all the way through trial and appeal.


She has successfully defended multiple cases at the trial and appellate levels. She is a contributing author to a national publication regarding Medicare compliance in workers’ compensation settlements and advises clients and other attorneys on the Medicare Secondary Payer Act.


Whitney has been selected to the Minnesota Rising Stars list from 2012-present. She earned her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law, cum laude, where she served as Managing Editor to the Hamline Law Review.


Whitney enjoys taking her family of four on long road trips to national parks where they sleep in a two person backpacking tent she purchased a decade ago in the clearance section of Target for $20.00.   She also enjoys signing up for 10 miles races, not running them, but wearing the race jackets as if she did.
