Elizabeth is presently involved with the defense of workers’ compensation claims, including settlements with intervenors, witness depositions, hearings, and motion practice.
Prior to joining Cousineau McGuire, she was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Teresa R. Warner, Chief Judge, Second Judicial District, Minnesota. During law school, Elizabeth was a law clerk at a local law firm. She performed legal research, drafted memoranda and briefs, interviewed witnesses, and assisted with court filings.
Elizabeth was a rising soccer star destined for the pros until her career was cut short when her nose was tragically broken. She now practices workers’ compensation defense. In her free time she raises two rescue dogs, who are being groomed (unsuccessfully) for the 2017 AKC National Championship. She also knows all the words to every Christmas song, and is working on learning the lyrics to the entire Hamilton soundtrack.
